Da visitare anche il museo nazionale ferroviario di Pietrarsa: prima strada ferrata d'Italia (1839) che collegava Napoli a Portici; merita una visita la Reggia borbonica di Portici, a 5 minuti a piedi dal parco e sede del dipartimento di Agraria dell'Università Federico II, che degrada fino al mare con il suo ameno bosco.
