In the heart of Tuscany, this lovely renovated family home, with a private pool, offers the perfect option for an Italian adventure. The house sleeps up to 10 people and is surrounded by a large, fenced garden. It is close to some of Tuscany’s most famous towns and cities as well as scenic national parks. The house is beautifully decorated with antique furniture, traditional pieces and some contemporary touches. A long corridor stretches through the centre of the house with most rooms leading off it. The elegant living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchairs, and a flat-screen TV. Two sets of French windows open up onto a private balcony with lovely views over the countryside. A large archway leads to a dining area with a wooden dining table and benches. An arched hatch opens from the dining room to the spacious kitchen, for easy serving.
The stylish fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffe machine and fridge/freezer. French windows open onto the balcony.
The outdoor space has been as carefully created as the interiors. There is an attractive loggia at the front of the house with a large table and chairs for outdoor dining. The extensive gardens include a swimming pool with terrace and sun loungers, where guests can relax after a refreshing dip. Guests can also enjoy table tennis, table football and archery.There are also 4 walking bicycles for guests’ use.

This house is ideally situated for guests to get the most out of Tuscany, in terms of history and culture, as well as food and wine. It is just 600m from the medieval village of Laterina Pergine Valdarno. On the last weekend of July, the village returns to its medieval past with a festival of processions, acrobats, jesters and jugglers. The area is a triangle between Arezzo (25 minutes), Siena (40 minutes) and Florence (1 hour). Each city makes an easy and fascinating day trip. The house is in the Chianti region so there are many vineyards close by where visitors can try and buy the fine local wines.
For keen shoppers, The Mall Firenze, a collection of famous Italian designer outlets, is just 40 minutes away.
There are some excellent restaurants close by, but for self-catering, the local markets are not to be missed. Arezzo’s weekly market is on Saturday in Viale Giotto.
