Summary: The room and breakfast were outstanding. We stayed in the luxury (Soft) room with the hot tub. The room was overall fantastic, but I would note that the water does not run hot enough for a hot bath in the whirlpool tub (first world problems). The water is good enough for a hot shower though. All that said, the hotel's location is central to Venice, on the route that goes between the train station (Ferrarovia) and Rialto Bridge/San Marco Piazzo. Easy to find your way, but a little touristy. That said, good bars and Cichetti can be found by walking a few minutes north or south from the hotel. A good hotel to get lost and wander Venice from. Not a note on the hotel, but recommend taking one of the hotel maps (and a small compass). Venice, as well as many denser Italian cities, is not conducive to GPS.
