Summary: The house is generously proportioned. Nice: the two upper floors are almost entirely constructed of wood. Ground floor: 2 large storage rooms, practical. First floor: very large room with a fireplace and upholstered furniture at one end and a large dining table with a sideboard at the other. Generous glazing, large balcony with table and chairs and direct access to the beautifully landscaped and well-maintained garden. On the ground floor there is also a large and lavishly equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. On the floor above there is another toilet and a bathroom, but with a bathtub without a splash guard, making it rather impractical for showering while standing. There are also 3 bedrooms on this floor, 2 of which have sloping ceilings and access to a balcony. What could be better?One problem upstairs was the extremely creaky floor in the hallway. When someone went to the toilet at night, it often woke up those who were asleep. The initial briefing could have been better. For example, there was no information about where and how to dispose of residual waste. The WhatsApp communication about a problem with the internet access was also a bit tedious, because it took some back and forth before we received the crucial information about a special feature of the access code. All in all, however, the positive aspects outweighed the negative ones and we were able to enjoy a very nice holiday.
